What do newsagents want with magazine supply?


magazine-saleMany a publisher comes to the ANF and asks what they can do to satisfy newsagents so that they display and sell their magazines and don’t early return without even looking at the title. Many publishers are looking for ways to help.

What can they do?

Publishers can offer a higher commission, delayed billing, extra merchandising, promotional support, on the ground assistance or a no return process, but does this make a difference?

The ANF and National Newsagent have created a short survey to ask newsagents if they respond to such offers and what makes magazine supply easy for them.

  1. I want a 50% margin no returns magazine supply model. It is 2014, rents are high, wages are high, fuel is expensive, we need efficiency and this is the future, Im happy to trial it if we need a trial
