A new product sampling business, called Stockbox, enables newsagents to regularly receive a box of products to sample and see if they are suitable for their stores. It is delivered totally free of charge with no obligation. There are no follow up calls or pressure to buy. All the retailer is asked to do is fill in the feedback form about the products. So far, 96% of the retailers involved have happily filled in the form and are looking forward to their next box.
It looks like a good way for newsagents to test a few new products and consider things they may not have thought of before.
Suppliers can get their products and a flyer into the hands of retailers for a small fee. It appears to works well for everyone.
Stockbox starts in the newsagency channel in April 2015. Newsagents can register HERE.
Suppliers can email email@example.com if they want their product in the hands of newsagents.
